Renaissance iBook

Students explore the question of the role that change played during the Renaissance and after. Through reading, responsive writing, public speaking, working in teams and creating art, students discover works of influential writers, artists, inventors and architects including William Shakespeare, Michelangelo, Leonardo Da Vinci, Johann Gutenberg and many more.

This unit of the Renaissance comes with readable text, student handouts accompanied by teachers’ edition and iBook. It uses primary source material to transport learners into the historical period and allow them to challenge each other and themselves to address what they believe to be the biggest contribution to civilization that came about from the Renaissance.
